This photo shows the aftermath of the bombing of the Cavite Navy Yard in December 1941. Primary base of the Asiatic fleet at the time, this Philippine base had been reduced to ruin by the time of the evacuation of Manila on Christmas day.
This photo is in good condition, bearing some press markings to improve contrast, normal wear, and one staple hole in the bottom left border.
