Chicago Cabrini-Green Protest (1968)

Chicago Cabrini-Green Protest (1968)

A press-photo of protesting youths in Chicago's Cabrini-Green housing project. The kids were expressing their desire to have an African American teacher to teach African American history at their Walter High School.

Taken the year of Dr. King's assassination, this print is a good capture of this tumultuous time in the history of the United States.

Print is on 8x10" photographic paper and in good condition. Has one bend in upper right corner that barely affects the typed copy.
