A vintage oversize (11.5x14.5") print depicting the crew of the USS Saratoga, "Queen of the Flattops," fighting fires sustained during fighting the Japanese on Feb 21, 1945 during the battle for Iwo Jima.

A rare look at the history surrounding one of the seminal moments in American history, made even more special by the large format of the print allowing full display of the intensity of the moment.

Print is in excellent condition, though it bears editorial markings to enhance contrast.
