A large collection that does an excellent job depicting over two decades of former president Herbert Hoover's life. Starting in 1921 and spanning through 1961 when Hoover was 87 years old. Includes both important and charming moments such as Hoover during his presidential acceptance speech, him advising President Eisenhower, celebrating Christmas with his family at the Nation's Community Christmas Tree. Also includes several reproduction images, made in 1928, of Hoover during his younger years starting at age 17.
Contains many photos that have the beautiful clarity of early century analog production methods, as well as lower quality press photos.
Most prints are 8x10", but some are smaller. Most are in good condition, though several show extreme sign of age such as rips and tears. Many bear editorial markings visible in scans.
