An exceedingly rare capture of Hickam Field in a peaceful state, pre-Pearl Harbor. This print, dated Sep 12, 1940, shows Hickam Field in an idyllic light, with its crisp white entry gate being foregrounded by palms. Vintage prints depicting it as such are few and far between.
Print is on 7x9" paper and in excellent condition, outside of some minor sepia discoloration at bottom of print.
