An excellent pairing of WWII era British aircraft carrier, complete with Royal Air Force planes, images. These two up close and personal images of planes on the decks of carriers give an excellent look into the history of aviation, seamanship, and warfare.
The copy on the back of the photographs further paints this history, particularly the 1941 image which describes the emergency landing of Flaming Barracuda during an engagement with a German battleship.
Prints are on 7x9" paper and in good condition for their age, with some corner/edge wear and slight surface marks only visible under harsh light.
