Russian Youths | Marc Riboud (1961)

A beautiful vintage print by famed photographer Marc Riboud juxtaposing the historic minarets of Red Square with smiling youths. This print highlights both Riboud's professional composure as well as his willingness to put himself in places foreign to the American public at that time.

Copy on verso states "When Gagarin orbited around the earth, Khrushchev made speeches, but Russian you dance The Twist (?) in venerable red square."

Print is on 8x10" paper, and has edge wear. Bears a ~1" crease in white upper left printed area, but otherwise printed area is in good condition.
